This award is about direct care, focusing on the development and maintenance of the client's independence. It also provides the care worker with recognition for the day to day care delivery they provide to their client group.

Qualification Structure

To achieve this qualification, candidates must achieve 6 units made up of the 4 core units and 2 optional units. Candidates can also undertake aditional units, although these are not required to complete the qualification
