APPOINTED PERSON FIRST AID COURSE - 1 DAY
This one day course (from 9.30am to 4.30pm) is very practical based. It is ideal for businesses needing to qualify staff to the level of Appointed Persons; to take responsibility for a first aid emergency and the first aid box in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.
At the end of the days training canidates will be able to carry out life saving techniques such as CPR and will have the knowledge to deal with common life threatening medical problems such as heart attacks, strokes, epileptic siezures etc (more course info).
On completion of the course all candidates recieve an Appointed Person First Aid certificate valid for 3 years
NB. All candidates recieve a free training manual for use during the course and to take away with them

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID COURSE - 2 DAY
This two day course programme meets the guidelines required by the EYDCP, SureStart Unit at the DfES, NCMA & the Pre School Learning Alliance.
On successful completion of the course, delegates receive a certificate which may be used for Continued Professional Development (CPD)/NVQ. (more course info)

FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE - 4 DAYS
This is a comprehensive course covering a wide range of first aid emergencies. This course is very practical and includes scenarios and role play to build on candidates' knowledge and confidence; enabling them to qualify as a First Aider for the workplace, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 (more course info).
Candidates undertake an assessment on the final afternoon of the course, if succesful candidates recieve a certificate which is valid for three years.

TRAINER/ASSESSOR in First Aid at Work COURSE - 3 DAYS
As an HSE approved first aid training provider we are specialists in the field of first aid training. We offer this course for candidates who wish to train and assess others in first aid. On successful completion of the course candidates will have the opportunity to register with us as a trainer, this will enable them to deliver HSE approved FAW and FAW Refresher courses as well as Appointed person FA; Peadiatric FA courses.
Prerequisites: Candidates are required to be in possession of a current First Aid at Work certificate (Nurses exempt). Some training/coaching experience is essential. A coaching or training certificate would be an advantage but not essential (more course info).
NB. All candidates recieve a First Aid Power Point Presentation and all the training materials needed to deliver First Aid Training, (FA manuals and equipment not included).
