First Aid at Work Trainer/Assessor Course
As an HSE approved first aid training provider we are specialists in the field of first aid training. We offer this course for candidates who wish to train and assess others in first aid. On successful completion of the course candidates will recieve a First Aid Power Point Presentation and Training Materials which will enable them to deliver/assess a full range of first aid courses.
Candidate Prerequisites:
Candidates are required to be in possession of a current First Aid at Work certificate (Nurses exempt). Some training experience is essential. A coaching or training certificate would be an advantage but not essential.
Course Content:
- First Aid theory - Adult/Child/Baby
- First Aid teaching practice - practical
- First Aid codes of practice
- Administration and Record keeping
- Theory of Learning
- First Aid teaching practice - theory
- First Aid assessment practice - theory/practical
All candidates will be required to deliver a first aid theory and a first aid practical teaching session and assess and give feedback on other candidates teaching sessions. All candidates will receive a course joining pack prior to commencement of course, this will will contain information and resources to help candidates prepare for their teaching sessions.
Course Duration: 3 Days
Certification
Candidates are assessed continully during the course and on the final afternoon will be given feedback and course results. On successful completion certification is valid for three years.

Manual Handling Trainer Course
This Course is aimed at those who wish to teach and assess candidates in Manual handling for both the movement of objects and people.
Prerequisites:
Some training experience is essential. A Coaching or Training certificate would be an advantage but not essential.
